FIRST, OF ALL THE FAMILY OF "CHAD SMITH" THEY THANK EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS!

Learning to trust! It has always been difficult with everyone at one time or  another. I faced it not to long ago. It was a struggle - beleive me! Many feel that a Pastor would not have that problem. But Pastors are just like anyone else, I can be deeply hurt.  The only difference with some Christians and leaders is they hide it just like I did and have done that more then once. The individuals hurt me at the very core of my life. Why? After all they were freinds and "yes" still friends. But it took me sometime to work through it with my wife's help, she is a great spiritual loving wife. However, it was certainly the help of the Holy Spirit that really worked in me, giving me Biblical Insight and healing. Let me give you a few pointers, if I can. Thanks! First, Proverbs 3: 5-6, its a must read along with studying it and praying. But in short; it's "Trusting in the Lord with all your Heart, which is the opposite of doubting, being hesitant and or being uncertain. You need to read itthen ask the Holy Spirit to give insight and revelation    In fact, God has always proven to be trustworthy, but mankind, well sadly not always so. One thing every christian needs to be assured of; is that Our Heavenly Father loves us and cares for us. Next read Matthew 10:31 and seek out the insight of truths therein. Also go to Matthew 6:8; it states, He knows all our needs not just spiritully, but also in all natural areas of ones life. As I write this, as a vital and important truth comes to mind; "He Treasures our Faithfulness, Love and Loyalty above all Earthly Things." Other Scriptues to read and study are Jeremiah 29:11-13 it speaks loud and clear! There are three Spiritual principles that came came forth for me, hopefully they will help you as they did me!  1. God desires to do great things through you!  2. God will answer your prayers which is linked with His purposes for our life! 3. In Matthew 6:35-26; It involves surrendering all our anxieties, worries and fears to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This brings us to 1 Peter 5:7 and Phillipians 4:4-7 which are very important in this area of trust. With all of these scriptures now look at and read Ephesians 1:19 One more but not last is Habakkuk 3:17-19 read it in different translations such as the ESV.Then last read Isaiah 26:3; it tells us...... A thought; "We are living in stressful days all around the world, but God will always give hope and bring  stablility as we hold to Him, for Jesus is Our Hope,  Our Refuge and Our Stablity! God Bless!
