You have been chosen for the work in God's Church / Ministry (I Timothy 1:2; II Timothy 2:2; I Corinthians 4:2) Believer's
Today the Church is in spiritual need. The Church has been weaken by allowing the world values and standards to creep (the devil is still being a sly fox) into the Church. We as the body of Christ need to awaken, for we are called, to advance the Kingdom of God. Below are a few areas that believers need to not only believe in, but allow the Holy Spirit to develop in each their life for the work of the ministry that has been assigned to them in His Church.
Loyalty, is a mssing qualityand imperative that is vital to leadership and within the body of Christ. Somewhere, over the last few years "Loyalty" has been dropped, believing that "faithfullness" and other areas fulfill "Loyalty" of which, it does not! It's what Jesus expected of his disiciples and when you read throughout HIS teachings and throughout God's Word, one finds "Loyalty" a very important aspect of the Christian life.
Are you Loyal, to your leaders, your fellow christians, your friends and your Church / Ministry? Integrity, where is it? I beleive God expects it in believers and most of all in Leaders!
Faithfulness, I believe is the first quality that is needed in every area of ones life. The believer, Ministry or the Church will not survive without it. It is an absolute mandate for all believers for we are entrusted by God to be stewards, having
Fellowship, This is imperative to the body of Christ, Jesus died for His Church, we are to live for it, the Church, as His body here on earth. The word entails to share, to have unity, to be in partnership, and to have Biblical Communion. The question with this is, are we in fellowship? (Acts 2;42)
Friendship, I have often been disappointed in this (have you?). Just what is friendship? According to God's Word, Jesus gives us the true example. It states, "Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother..." This friendship should lead to a covenant, yes, a covenant which implies closeness with each other to stand and share like; Johnathan and David. It is sharing, providing security, stability and giving of ourselves. Jesus told His disciples, "I no longer call you servants by friends.."
Fruitfulness , We are called to be fruitful, bringing glory to God. If we have no fruit, we are like a tree that is barren. This message includes all believers, no exception! We are known by our fruit, is it showing? It is meant to bring light into the darkness, into lives that our lost. A light not hidden under a bushel, but held up for all to see, that we might bring others into the kingdom of God. (John 15; Colossians 1:13; Galatians 5)
